UFC 54 – Boiling Point
Chuck ‘The Iceman’ Liddell (16-3-0) looks to avenge the first loss of his career and defend his UFC® light heavyweight title when he takes on challenger Jeremy Horn (85-13-5).
Liddell is fresh off his big win over previous light heavyweight champ Randy Couture at UFC 52, but at UFC 54, he’ll only have one thing on his mind…revenge. Liddell lost the first fight of his career in 1999 when Horn executed a first-round arm triangle choke on the future champion. UFC 54 is Liddell’s chance to wipe the slate clean against his old nemesis. But Horn’s well-rounded skills and versatility will present a tough challenge for the champ in what should be a match for the ages.
Also on the card is a huge match-up between Randy ‘The Natural’ Couture (13-7-0) and Mike Van Arsdale (9-1-1).
